The Geelong Interfaith Network would like to invite you to:
Annual Silent Day
Date: Saturday 15 October 2016 Time: 10am – 3pm
Location: St James' Anglican Church, 1 Albert Street, Point Lonsdale
As people of faith and religious practice we share many things. On this day we will share friendship, the beauty of nature, hospitality and a shared meal. Importantly, 'silence' is a fundamental spiritual practice in all the great traditions of faith. This day is an opportunity to enter silence together.
This year we are honoured to have as our special guest Shaysh Ibrahim Ansari of the Ansari Sufi Order. He will guide us into shared silence using the wisdom and spiritual practices of the Ansari Sufi tradtion.
