The Faith Communities Council of Victoria holds one major event per year – the Victorian Interfaith Festival (VIF).

The Festival brings together Victoria's diverse faith communities, provides networking opportunities, helps build the capacity and sustainability of the interfaith movement in Victoria, brings people up-to-date with current multifaith/interfaith matters, and assists the hosting interfaith network/council to promote its work to the local community.

The VIF is the follow-up event of the 2009 Parliament of the World's Religions held in Melbourne, Australia.
