
The Victorian Interfaith Festival is a grassroots initiative that brings together Victoria's diverse faith communities to foster understanding, collaboration, and positive social impact. Each year, the Festival is hosted in a different Local Government Area (LGA), highlighting the unique faith communities and contributions within that region.
The Festival addresses pressing community issues, including family violence prevention, anti-racism, child safety, gambling harm, and environmental sustainability, while promoting awareness and dialogue on faith, multifaith, and interfaith matters.
Building on the legacy of the Parliament of World Religions held in Melbourne in 2009, the Festival is now in its 17th year, demonstrating sustained community engagement and leadership in fostering social cohesion across Victoria.
