On Sunday 21 December 2014, the Solstice Global Healing Event was held at Catani Gardens in St. Kilda. This event is a gathering for people mainly from within St Kilda and the wider City of Port Phillip community.

Faith Leaders Call for Unity and Peace

On 7th December 2014, Boroondara Interfaith Network and GreenFaith/ARRCC ran a partnership environmental forum on 'Faith responses to Natural Disaster'.

White Ribbon Day is marked around the world every year on 25th November to highlight the existence of family violence in an attempt to take a step towards its eradication. On 20th November 2014, the Casey Multifaith Network held forum entitled “Preventing Family Violence” to express their solidarity with the cause of the White Ribbon Foundation, which was attended by over 120 people of different faith backgrounds.

On the 23 October 2014, Casey MultiFaith Network held its 7th Annual Gathering at the Nossal High auditorium in Berwick. The gathering, entitled “Harmony in Diversity”, was chiefly organized by Pam Mamouney OAM, Vice President of the network.

CELEBRATION was the theme for the Interfaith Network Annual Gathering held on 22 October 2014, as the Interfaith Network, the oldest Network in Australia, celebrated its 25th anniversary.

On October 18th 2014 a seminar took place at Monash University in Melbourne, sponsored by the Universal Peace Federation (UPF) and the Women's Federation for World Peace (WFWP). The seminar was the first in a series that will explore the role of religion, morality and interdisciplinary perspectives in addressing current moral, humanitarian and peace challenges facing our world and took the view that the best solutions to these challenges can emerge if the diverse perspectives of spiritual leaders, scholars, diplomats, government leaders, experts in geopolitics and leaders of NGOs can be combined.
