Voices of Youth in Faith: Casey Multifaith Network

From August 20, 2020 18:30 until August 20, 2020 19:30

Casey Multifaith Network invites you to:

Voices of Youth in Faith: Is Religions still relevant?

Date: Thursday 20 August 2020       Time: 6:30pm to 7:30pm
Location: Online

The 2016 census showed that 30% of our society have no faith affiliation. Young Adults aged 18-34 were more likely to be affiliated with religions other than Christianity (12 per cent) and to not report not having a religion (39 per cent) than other adult age groups. Now more and more youth are critically engaging with the idea of faith and making their own decisions about their beliefs in an ever-changing world.
The Casey Multi-Faith Network will explore how some youth have continued to incorporate faith into their lives and discuss whether organised religion is still relevant or practicable for younger generations. Our panel will feature some young and inspiring members of faith communities from the City of Casey that we will hear from, followed by a Q&A for the second half of the event.
As we mark the International Day of the Youth, lets honour and hear from younger generations of leaders in faith communities.
Register through our Eventbrite page to receive the details for the event.
