National Conference, ‘Earth Wisdom: Hope in Action’.

We have lined up brilliant, inspiring and informative speakers, including Professor Anne Poelina, Nyikina Warrwa woman, human & earth rights advocate; Prof. Mehmet Ozalp, Head of Centre for Islamic Studies and Civilisation; Dr James Whelan, a climate action strategist; Sophia Walter, Solutions Team at Climate Action Network Australia; and Tim Buckley, Director of Climate Energy Finance.

Come along and meet like-minded people of faith who have been taking action on the climate crisis. The Conference will be an opportunity to hone our skills and capacity to do this more effectively, with times set aside for shared prayer and meditation. ARRCC is keen for participation to be as diverse as possible, with Saturday evening devoted to multi-cultural sharing of music and poetry. There will be plenty of opportunities to ask questions and contribute, with breaks in which people can network with each other.

ARRCC is pleased to have the benefit of catering by the House of Welcome, a social enterprise creating employment pathways through fusion-inspired global cuisine. All meals and morning and afternoon teas will be provided, except breakfasts. Food will be vegetarian or vegan.
