Prophetability: the wealth of prophecy in Judaism and Christianity

Rev Dr Merryl Blair OAM and Rabbi Fred Morgan AM will introduce the roles that the prophets play in Jewish and Christian scripture, liturgy and theology, the differences between their treatment in the two faith traditions, and similarities in function and meaning using two passages which are highlighted in both Judaism and Christianity: Isaiah 54:1-10,and 2 Kings 5.

The seminar will take the form of a dialogue, and participation from the audience will be welcomed.
