Women’s Education is key to a Peaceful World: An Interfaith Symposium

Date: Saturday 23 June 2018       Time: 11 for 11:30am start to 2pm

You are invited to an interfaith luncheon to bring together women from different faiths, including parliamentarians and the civics, to engage in meaningful dialogue and infuse mutual understanding between different ethnic views.

  1. Dr Colleen O'Reilly ( The Vicar of St George's Anglican Church, Malvern and Canon of St Paul's Cathedral.
  2. Marcia Pinskier ( The Director of Jewish Museum of Australia and member of Advisoru Board of John Curtin Research Centre)
  3. Karen Money ( Principal Melbourne Girl's College, Richmond)
  4. Khola Usman ( member of Ahmadiyya Muslim Association)

We endeavour to discuss the importance of women's education and the role it can play for achieving peace in the world. The Holy Prophet of Islam (peace be upon him) has made the pursuit of education compulsory for both men and women, recognising that this regulation is essential for peace and progress of a society.
