Spiritual care and chaplaincy can have a significant and direct impact on the extent to which a person can recover and deal with loss, grief, transition and illness.

Pastoral/Spiritual Care Volunteer Training Program: FIMO will provide spiritual carer training to a small number of successful applicants.  These applicants will be volunteers who have a desire to support adherents of their faith with spiritual / pastoral care.

Volunteers will be trained in the Spiritual Care Volunteer Training Program, a program developed by Spiritual Health Victoria, and will receive a Volunteer Pastoral/Spiritual Care Certificate of Completion.

The training instruction for this program will be delivered by FIMO Vice President Bhakta Dasa.

Please note: Applicants can be from any faith background and need to attend all four sessions.
