Beautiful Places of Worship in Darebin

Date: Saturday 4 June 2016      Time: 10:00am to 5:30pm
Meeting point: Preston Town Hall, 284 Gower Street, Preston (corner of High Street)

We live in a beautiful city with beautiful places of worship. We invite you to join us on a coach trip to these beautiful places: to make new friends, develop our knowledge and learn from each other.

Program

  • 10:00am – Meet at Preston Town Hall, 284 Gower St, Preston (corner of High St)
  • 10:30am – Aboriginal Catholic Ministry (434 St Georges Rd, Thornbury)
  • 11:50 am – Depart to Islamic Museum of Australia (15A Anderson Rd, Thornbury)
  • 1:50 pm – Depart to Buddhist Congregation (33–35 Radford Rd, Reservoir)
  • 3:30 pm – Depart to Sikh Temple (344 Hume Hwy, Craigieburn)
  • 5:30: Return to departure point and event close

RSVP: This is a free event including lunch and refreshments. However, registration is essential as spaces on the coach and at venues are limited.

Note: In some places of worship you may be asked to cover your head and take off your shoes. Please wear simple clothing covering legs and shoulders and easy-to-take-off comfortable shoes for walking and bring your umbrella.
