Nirvana Day (Buddhism)

Nirvana Day is the day when Buddha is said to have achieved complete Nirvana, i.e. death of his physical body. The day is a time to think about one's own future death and on the deaths of loved ones. Observances include meditation and visits to Buddhist places of worship.
