Manningham Interfaith Networks invites you to:
Mental Health First Aid Training
The Manningham Interfaith Network, in conjunction with Action in Disability within Ethnic Communities (ADEC), and with the support of the Manningham City Council and Manningham Community Health will be conducting training on Mental Health First Aid. This training will provide you with the knowledge to assist other adults who are experiencing a mental health crisis or developing a mental health problem. The program will be led by a Mental Health First Aid trainer. The training is a 12 hour course and participants will receive a copy of the standard MHFA Manual and a Certificate of completion.
Purpose:
This course teaches adults how to assist other adults who are experiencing a mental health crisis or developing a mental health problem. The first aid is given until appropriate professional treatment is received or until the crisis resolves (please read the attached flyer for further details).
Dates (Thursdays) & Times (evening):
Tea and light refreshments will be made available after each session.
Location:
MC² (Manningham City Square), 687 Doncaster Road, Doncaster (Melways 47F1).
(Free parking is available at the underground car park with direct access to the training room through the lift).
