Celebrating World Interfaith Harmony Week

Faith leaders representing the diversity in Moreland will come together to celebrate the occasion.

World Interfaith Harmony Week is a UN resolution for a worldwide week of interfaith harmony. This event, opened by the Mayor Councilor Mark Riley, will mark the first gathering of the Moreland Interfaith Network in 2022 with opportunities for members to share their stories and hear from others.

This Network lunch will mark the first gathering of the Moreland Interfaith Network in 2022 with opportunities for members to share their stories and hear from others. The Network will aim to further develop understanding and harmony across the many faiths and cultures represented in Moreland.

The members of the Network will work along with Council to strengthen social justice, deepen mutual respect and understanding, promote community participation and wellbeing for members of all faiths.

This event will be hosted outdoors with COVID Safety protocols in place. If you have any specific access requirements to participate in this event, please let us know.
