Tackling Hate Speech Program

The Council of Christians and Jews (Vic) together with the Online Hate Prevention Institute present the Community Representative Training for the Tackling Hate Speech program.

The Community Training Day is designed to teach community representatives to recognise and appropriately respond to hate. This includes training and resources so that community representatives will then be able to run short introductory sessions in their communities. 

Themes to be explored include: relevant Australian and Victorian law; racism in general, and against Indigenous Australians; antisemitism; Holocaust denial; Islamophobia; anti-Christian hate and online reporting.
