Speakers: Rabbi Alison Conyer and Dr Julie Hall
About the speakers:
- Rabbi Alison Conyer is Rabbi at Etz Hayim Progressive Synagogue in Bentleigh, with experience in Jewish education, community outreach, counselling, fundraising, outreach to the youth, young adults and young families. She is passionate about scuba diving, acting, bushwalking and camping, as well as social justice, Israel, interfaith dialogue and Jewish growth.
- Dr Julie Hall is Minister at Bentleigh Uniting Church. She has an extensive social work background with experience working with women, children and families in counselling, health, parenting education and welfare settings. Julie also trained in interfaith ministry, is an advisor to the Interfaith Centre of Melbourne, chairs the Uniting Church VicTas Synod Working Group on Christian-Jewish Relations and is a committee member of the Progressive Christian Network of Victoria.
