On Sunday 16 August 2015, the Sathya Sai International Organisation of Australia & PNG, Victoria Region in collaboration with the Whitehorse Interfaith Network organised the All Faiths Music Festival at the Box Hill Town Hall. 

It was a resounding success with over 350 guests.

Among the many special guests and dignitaries, the acting Chairperson from the Victorian Multicultural Commission Mr Ross Alatsas attended the event. Ms Anna Burke, Federal Member for Chisholm and Mayor Paul McLeish of Manningham Council along with the Mayor Andrew Munroe with Councillors Andrew Davenport and Bill Bennett from Whitehorse Council also graced the event with their presence. Also among the attendees were VIC Police Multicultural Liaison Unit, and Elizabeth Sidiropoulos representing as the VIC Police Multicultural Liaison Unit (MLU). Sam Navarria, President of Communities' Council on Ethnic Issues (CCOEI) also attended the event.

There was a lighting of the lamp of Oneness by faith leaders. 10 groups performed music and dances from varied Faiths and religions. These groups included the Veda Chanting, Brahmakumaris, In2worship Gospel Choice, the Whirling Dervishes from the Sufi tradition, the Sikh choir, Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, the Sri Lankan Buddhist group, Eckankar, Ahmadiya Muslim Association Victoria, Sathya Sai group.

The participation was from a diverse group of people with multiple ethnic and religious groups presented. Men women and children from as young as 5 years old not only attended but presented the items on stage. It was very encouraging to see the multitude of diversity present at this event.

We would like to thank all the special guests along with representatives and leaders from many faith and religious groups. It was a special occasion for all to network and start many new conversations.
