diversityweek1As part of Cultural Diversity Week 2025, Zee Cheng Khor Moral Uplifting Society Inc. proudly hosted Diversity@ZCK, welcoming guests from the local community and across the Interfaith Networks of Monash, Kingston, Knox, Manningham, and Casey—representing a beautiful tapestry of faiths and cultures.

The event truly exemplified Zee Cheng Khor Moral Uplifting Society Inc.'s role as a Centre for Interfaith and Interracial Understanding and a Chinese cultural hub, gaining growing recognition across Victoria’s richly diverse communities. We welcomed the Peranakan Association joining for the first time!

Organised in collaboration with the Knox Interfaith Network and the City of Knox, the visit was part of the Tour of Places of Worship program. Guests experienced the Journey and Teachings of DEJIAO, enjoyed Tai Chi demonstrations and Chinese cultural performances, and were deeply inspired by keynote speaker Sandy Kouroupidis from the Faith Communities Council of Victoria - a true fountain of knowledge! His talk sparked engaging questions and lively discussion, making it a dynamic and enriching experience for all.

The celebration was beautifully anchored by our graceful and talented MC, Adelina Vanderzee, whose warmth, elegance, and joyful energy truly lit up the room.

Guests were also treated to a sumptuous vegetarian feast, generously sponsored by our members and lovingly prepared by our incredible Women’s Group. The day was further uplifted by heartfelt musical moments—including Betty Yung’s “Sky Road”, a song of hope in Chinese, followed by a moving singalong of Amazing Grace—adding spiritual and joyful harmony to the celebration.

We were also honoured to host World Interfaith Week 2025 on 9 February, organised by the Kingston Interfaith Network and the City of Kingston.
