The Refugee Advocacy Network and the Refugee Action Collective invite you to:

Palm Sunday planning meeting

Date: Monday 7 December 2015         Time: 6pm
Location: Multicultural Hub, 506 Elizabeth Street (opp Vic Market)

You are warmly invited to attend the Palm Sunday March planning meeting. Palm Sunday has been a traditional time in Melbourne when faith groups join with the general community to champion messages of Peace and Humanity. The current human rights issue for Australia is our treatment of Asylum Seekers.
We would appreciate each larger interfaith group being represented and carrying banners. We hope that you can invite and liaise with your member communities, parishes, mosques, temples, synagogues, and prayer centres to send delegate groups to the March.
There is a lot to prepare to make this event significant and representative. We welcome groups who also add music and engagement for the walk.

We are keen to have you come along to this planning meeting if you can. We made a good start a couple of weeks ago, and we are keen to progress the discussion on Monday night.
