The Australian Religious Response to Climate Change (ARRCC) / Greenfaith would like to invite you to:

Community organising workshop

Date: Sunday 26 July 2015        Time: 12 to 5 pm
Location: Multicultural hub, cnr Therry & Elizabeth Sts, near Queen Victoria Market

Would you like to be able to animate meaningful action in your community to address climate change, but there are various hurdles and blocks? Would you like to meet with others in the ARRCC and other faith-based networks who are interested in making a difference?

ARRCC (which now includes GreenFaith/ARRCC) is offering a half-day workshop in Melbourne. The aim is to have you feeling more empowered, clearer on how to be effective and more connected with other ARRCC members and friends. Thea and Manny will guide the day, part of which will be taking you through the steps used by professional organisers to achieve their chosen goals. There are some basic tips which can be learned so that the work you do actually pays off. These can’t be passed on in a single workshop, but you’ll be left with a clearer idea of what has worked for others.

Facilitators: Thea Ormerod (ARRCC) & Emmanuel (Manny) Pasqualini (Community Power Agency)
Cost: $20 or concession rate $10 (includes lunch & light refreshments)
RSVP for catering purposes: info@arrcc.org.au

Note: 8 parking spaces are available, but consider coming by tram, train, bus or bike if you can. Please let us know if you need a parking space.
