In recognition of the imperative need for dialogue among different faiths and religions to enhance mutual understanding, harmony and cooperation among people, the United Nations proclaims the first week of February every year as the World Interfaith Harmony Week between all religions, faiths and beliefs.
The function will be presided over by Cr. Steven Tsitas, Mayor of the City of Darebin. The keynote presenter will be Prof. Joe Camilleri who will speak of the importance of Interfaith Dialogue in Combatting Violence.
