The Centre of Melbourne Multifaith & Others Network (COMMON) Inc and the Women's Interfaith Network (WIN) Foundation invite you to:

Multifaith Su-Cah PArty and Joint AGM

Date: Sunday 8 October 2017     Time: 3pm
Location: East Melbourne Synagogue, 488 Albert Street East Melbourne

This will be an amazing afternoon... music, free Kosher/Halal Snack Packs including Sikh traditional Rice-dishes, & tons of people from different backgrounds - youth and elders, Aboriginal, Muslim, Sikh, Christian and people of every faith/or not of faith  - along with Jews of every stripe too! We especially are welcoming Asylum-Seekers and Refugees.

Proceedings will include a Short Ceremony across the street in the beautiful Parliament Gardens - at the statues of Sir Doug & Lady Gladys Nicholls.

This event is being held during Chag Su-cot - the Jewish sacred festival of Tabernacles where Jewish tradition has us celebrate/eat/live in a specially-built booth for 7 days & nights  (imagine a week living out of a huge cubby-house with a roof made of palm fronds!)
