These \;seminars will help us in this process. \;\nIt will be addressing how we build those bonding relationships with family and close friends which are the essence of supp ortive community life.\nIn each seminar four speakers from different tradi tions and contexts will speak to the topic\, followed by discussion. The s peakers will include:\n\nChang Ji Fa Shi (Chen Buddhist)\nAssoc/Prof Bob D ixon (former director of the Catholic Pastoral Research Office)\nPs Scott Hawkins (Urban Life\, Ringwood)\nRev Glenn Loughrey (National Aboriginal T orres Strait Islander Anglican Commission and vicar St Oswald’s\, Glen Wav erley)\nSwami Sunishthananda (Vedanta Hindu Centre\n\nThrough these semina rs we will seek to find what is common between our different traditions an d backgrounds and understand our differences.\nBuilding Bridging Community \nBridges are the relationships through which people work together on comm on interests\, through which people find and give each other the resources that are needed for living. They are the relationships we form with peopl e through our religious communities\, work and sport\, our neighbours and other people we know through our local communities.
