DESCRIPTION:Calm in The City invites you to:\nIn the run up to UN Peace Day
 : Present Moments of Peace initiative\nFrom Sept 1st - 20th\, this initiat
ive offers a series of personal reflections\, via a short video response (
30-45 secs) to the following question:\n'In the present moment\, what brin
gs you into peace?' It could be a practice\, a prayer\, a mantra\, an affi
 rmation\, a faith or belief\, a commentary to the self etc.\nWe add a litt
le music to the end of the video so that listeners can absorb the reflecti
on and experience their own 'present moment of peace'. These reflections a
re being posted on Instagram (see here).\nWe've already had some lovely co
ntributions. But if you felt inspired to also offer a short reflection - o
r someone from your faith community (female voices contributions are parti
cularly welcome)\, it would be wonderful to receive it (please WhatsApp to
+61 406 371 894). But no pressure also. We hope that these short personal
reflections from individuals from many different backgrounds and walks of
life will provide authentic\, relatable and practical inspirations of pea
ce for all.\nOn UN Peace Day: A silent UN Peace Day online vigil\nThis ini
tiative will culminate in a special silent UN Peace Day online vigil on th
 e morning of Thursday 21st September\, 7.30 - 8.00am - registration is her
e.\nYou are invited to 'drop-in' and attend the vigil for however long you
can to offer your peaceful thoughts and prayers around the three intentio
 ns around peace (7.30 - 7.40am)\, hope (7.40 - 7.50am)\, and compassion (7
 .50 - 8.00am) - and leave a message of peace also. https://faithvictoria.o
