a 3000\nIn 2001\, 19% of people aged under 24 identified as not religious.
By 2016\, the figure had increased to 35%. We're losing our religion – fa
st. What might we be losing along with it? And what's it like to be a youn
g believer in an increasingly secular society?\nFor this conversation\, we
're bringing together three young people from different faiths to discuss
the role religion plays in their lives. They'll discuss their earliest exp
eriences of faith and describe how their beliefs guide their decisions\, t
heir habits and their daily lives. They'll talk\, too\, about the ways med
ia and political figures engage with religion\, from stereotypes to religi
ous freedom laws.\nCan religious institutions change the way they talk to
young people? How does religious faith enrich the lives of young Australia
ns? How is faith tested or altered during adolescence and young adulthood?
And how does faith intersect with questions of race\, gender and sexualit
 y?\nMore about the speakers:\n\nNevo ZisinNevo is a Jewish\, queer\, non-b
