  Central train station\nBreaking news or Making News? aims to facilitate a
  dialogue between media\, communities\, advocates and researchers on race 
 and multiculturalism. It will seek to understand how the media approach is
 sues concerning race and multiculturalism and provide a platform for commu
 nity to share experiences of depictions of race within the media.\nConfirm
 ed panellists:\n\nAlex Lavelle\, Editor with The Age\;\nZione Walker-Nethe
 nda\, lawyer and social entrepreneur\;\nAdel Salman\, Vice President\, Isl
 amic Council Victoria\, and\nSarah Abo\, SBS reporter and presenter.\nOthe
 r panellists with be announced shortly.\n\nThe target audience for this fo
 rum will be multicultural and indigenous community representatives\, membe
 rs of the media\, as well as advocates and academics.\nThrough this discus
 sion the three Commissions hope to contribute to a better relationship bet
 ween media and multicultural communities\, and to community harmony and re
 silience.\nChoosing a representative:\n\nYour participation\, experience a
 nd insight would be valuable at the forum and we would like you to nominat
 e representatives to attend.\nA representative is likely to be someone who
  has the interest\, knowledge and experience in the subject of race and mu
 lticulturalism\, and media\, and is regarded as a leader by their communit
 y.\n\nPlease know that you may select more than ONE representative to atte
