Sometimes it's lo ss\, sometimes it's celebration\, sometimes ... the list is endless. And s ometimes we all feel lost for words and ideas. That's the topic of the fir st professional development event for 2015 organised by Spiritual Care Aus tralia (Vic branch).\nKeynote Speakers: \;Helen Summers and Jennifer G reenham\nMore about the Speakers: The keynote speakers will be two interfa ith ministers - Helen Summers and Jennifer Greenham who have a special int erest in the sharing of wisdom resources across traditions. Both are ordai ned interfaith ministers and Helen is founder of Melbourne's Interfaith Ce ntre. Both are ordained interfaith ministers and Helen is found of Melbour ne's Interfaith Centre. Helen is widely recognised for her expertise in ar ts and culture across faith traditions. Jennifer is engaged in interfaith chaplaincy at Swinburne University and in emergency ministry through the V ictorian Council of Churches. \;\nThree practitioners with experience in offering inclusive liturgies in specific situations will give \;exa mples of different approaches:\n\nAndy Calder organises a statewide servic e for people who have experienced road trauma. \;He works for the Unit ing Church in disability inclusion and is a CPE supervisor.\nDenise Same o ffers ritual for people bereaved through the death of children in her work  \;with SIDS and Kids. A social worker and therapist\, she has also wo rked for Jewish Care.\nCheryl Lawrie facilitates ritual and sacred spaces in the prison system. She works for the \;Uniting Church\, exploring t he intersections of faith\, culture and context.\n\nThere will be time for YOU\, too\, with Q&\;A and networking over afternoon tea and drinks an d \;nibbles at the end. \;All interested people are welcome but be sure to register soon!
