Lanterns for All@ZCK

You would generally expect to see a boy or girl of Chinese heritage holding a Lantern to celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival

On Saturday, 23 September 2023, Zee Cheng Khor Moral Uplifting Society would like to change that by sharing this important Chinese Festival with children of the broader communities with

cross-cultured experience, fun-filled educational activities and programs for all to enjoy! Children are offered the opportunity to appreciate and understand each other's culture and traditions to foster greater social cohesion, harmony and understanding in our Culturally and Linguistically Diverse community.

Fifteen community groups of diverse backgrounds from cultural organisations, environmental, local Scout Groups, faith communities and the Interfaith Movement have come together in the spirit of goodwill, peace, harmony and understanding to make a difference!

Each child will join the Lantern Parade and take home their lantern to keep and bring to schools for their "Show & Tell" Story Time! And a slice of the mandatory Mooncake to taste!
