Established in 2010, the Faith Communities Council of Victoria (FCCV) is Victoria’s umbrella multifaith body. It is the successor to the Leaders of Faith Communities Forum, founded in 1995.
FCCV was created to contribute to the harmony of the Victorian community by promoting positive relations between people of different faiths and greater public knowledge and mutual understanding of the teachings, customs and practices of Victoria's diverse faith traditions.

Maroondah Interfaith Network invites you to:
Compassion – Final Seminar 2022
Please note, this meeting will include an AGM
Date: Sunday 27 November 2022 Time: 3pm
Location: Janssen Centre, 22 Woodvale Road, Boronia
Compassion lies at the heart of most religions and is the foundation for family and society. Yet, each religion understands and expresses compassion in its own way. In our final seminar on compassion for 2022 we will bring our learning from the different traditions together. A number of our past speakers will be present and we will discuss with them how the teachings of the different traditions build on each other.
A number of the speakers who have shared how their traditions speak of compassion and how their communities practise compassion will be meeting with us. We will be looking back over the 8 seminars we have held and how the different traditions complement and build on each other. It will take the form of a Q&A session with the opportunity for questions and discussion.
Please join us for this occasion ... and extend this invitation to other people in your communities. The invitation is attached and includes a list of the 8 seminars in this series. We look forward to seeing you again in person.
