Places of Worship Bus Tour | 2019 Refugee Week

We will visit the Jewish Museum of Australia. The museum holds more than 20,000 objects and comprises objects of ritual, religious, historical, cultural, social and artistic significance which encompass Jewish life and history. The museum has exhibits on permanent display as well as temporary exhibitions.

The second stop will be the Hare Krishna Temple in Albert Park. The International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON) was founded in New York in 1966 by His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada (1896–1977). Srila Prabhupada was a distinguished scholar, teacher and practitioner of Vedic religion, philosophy and culture. He established ISKCON as a means of sharing Vedic culture with the world.
