kaiciidlogoKAICIID's Dialogue Knowledge Hub (DKH) is pleased to offer the eight-week online course in interreligious dialogue for religious leaders, decision makers, IRD practitioners and educators.

Through a series of assignments, lectures and online forums, participants will learn the history of interreligious dialogue, methodologies, and tools for using dialogue to foster peace, mutual respect and social cohesion.

The online course is the result of an ongoing collaboration with renowned universities such as the University of Montreal, the Complutense University of Madrid, and other institutions of higher learning. It is administered through KAICIID’s Dialogue Knowledge Hub (DKH) which offers a number of online resources and learning tools to foster the exchange of knowledge and experience in the field of interreligious and intercultural dialogue.

Participants will learn from experts in the field of interreligious dialogue through interactive exercises, which enable them to apply new tools and methods, and online forums, where they can share best practices with their peers. The course has been specifically adapted for busy career professionals, allowing users to take the course at their own pace.

Course Learning Objectives

  • Demonstrate developing skills and knowledge of interreligious dialogue concepts, tools and methodologies;
  • Identify initiatives and best practices for addressing Islamophobia, Christianophobia and Anti-Semitism at the national and local levels;
  • Understand the conceptual landscape of dialogue, as well as the concepts and models of using interreligious dialogue for peace;
  • Experience an innovative approach to education on interreligious dialogue as a new scientific field.
