Established in 2010, the Faith Communities Council of Victoria (FCCV) is Victoria’s umbrella multifaith body. It is the successor to the Leaders of Faith Communities Forum, founded in 1995.
FCCV was created to contribute to the harmony of the Victorian community by promoting positive relations between people of different faiths and greater public knowledge and mutual understanding of the teachings, customs and practices of Victoria's diverse faith traditions.

Human Trafficking in Australia and Globally what is it and what can we do to stop it??
Location: Leo Baeck Centre 31-37 Harp Road Kew East 3102

More about Guest Speaker: I began counter trafficking work in 2001 when I was asked to initiate projects in response to the call of 800 Catholic women religious leaders, gathered in Rome that year, who recognised the global dimensions of modern day slavery. Now I am the executive officer of ACRATH – Australian Catholic Religious Against Trafficking in Humans. Our organisation works to raise awareness of human trafficking in the sex, construction, hospitality and agriculture industries. We have developed an online education resource accessed from our website acrath.org.au.
