Monash Places of Worship Open Day

Date: Saturday 9 November 2019       Time: 11am to 4.30pm
Location: Varied places of worship, City of Monash, Vic 3150

The Monash Interfaith Gathering and City of Monash invite you and your family, friends and fellow community members to visit four sacred spaces in our community and learn about diverse faith traditions and communities. The Open Day event aims to foster intercultural, inter-community and interfaith understanding and respect, and celebrate shared values.

 There are four sessions:

• 11am-12pm Sankat Mochan Kendra Hindu Temple
• 12.30pm-1.30pm The Australian Bangladesh Islamic Centre (Huntingdale Mosque)
• 2.00pm-3.00pm Archangel Michael and St Anthony’s Coptic Orthodox Church
• 3.30pm-4.30pm All Nations Presbyterian Church (South Sudanese congregation)
