Established in 2010, the Faith Communities Council of Victoria (FCCV) is Victoria’s umbrella multifaith body. It is the successor to the Leaders of Faith Communities Forum, founded in 1995.
FCCV was created to contribute to the harmony of the Victorian community by promoting positive relations between people of different faiths and greater public knowledge and mutual understanding of the teachings, customs and practices of Victoria's diverse faith traditions.

Who really was Jesus?
This is the major question that has always divided the three Abrahamic faiths: Judaism, Christianity and Islam. Surprisingly, both Judaism and Islam have quite different views on the life and teachings of Jesus and, therefore, this discussion between a prominent Jewish and a prominent Muslim cleric should be most enlightening! Both Sheikh Riad Galil and Rabbi Fred Morgan are prominent clergyman and teachers, and both have strong records of work towards interfaith dialogue, particularly between the Abrahamic faiths. Both men are well respected both within their own communities and within society in general.
Bagels at 10.00 am; Discussion at 10.30 to 12.00 noon.
